Zusammenfassung: | Polyethylene-octene copolymer (POE) grafting styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer (POE-g-SAN) was synthesized by a solution graft copolymer-ization reaction of styrene, acrylonitile and polyethylene-octene copolymer. The graft copolymerization reaction factors were investigated and POE-g-SAN was characterized. The results showed that grafting ratio (GR) and grafting efficiency (GE) slightly increased with decreasing St/AN (mass ratio). GR and GE got a maximum level when POE/St-An (mass ratio) was 50/50. The increase of BPO content was beneficial to graft reaction. GR and GE got a maximum level when mass fraction of reactant to toluene was 27.5%. At the first 10 h, with increasing polymerization time, GR increased and GE got a maximum level of 77.8% at 4 h. After 10 h, the grafting reaction was nearly finished. In the copolymerization of POE and SAN, SAN was grafted onto POE. The more GR was, the more SAN graft branches were. There were two grass transition temperatures (T(g)) of POE-g-SAN at -50 deg C and 110 deg |
