Dependence of steel-pouring ladle refractory life on refractory quality indices

The effect of ladle refractory quality indices, determined before and after coking firing, on the life of steel-pouring ladle refractory life is considered. It is established that there is only a significant dependence between lining life and the quality indices obtained after coking firing of components. The least change in component properties after coking firing gives rise to the longest life in comparing the results of the service of objects having the greatest change in quality indices.
