Design of electric energy acquisition terminal testing system of the power plants and stations

In recent years, the construction of electric energy telemetering systems had been energetically promoted around country. The test of communication protocol and terminal function is a time-consuming and laborious job, but it is an essential task of building systems. The paper develops a testing system of electric energy acquisition terminal according to the demands of electric energy telemetering systems. This system consists of communication channel devices and master station. It can be used not only as a tool for debugging communication protocol, but also a test platform for terminal products acceptance. The efficiency of testing work has been greatly enhanced since the system is put into use, and the testing system plays an important role in the construction of electric energy telemetering systems in Guangdong regional power grid.
