Zusammenfassung:The effect of additives such as deflocculants and on the properties of alumina low-cement castables was investigated. The flow and setting and major physical and mechanical properties of castables were tested. The microstructures of castables were also evaluated. The proper choice deflocculants such as polycarboxylate ether was for the development of these castables and of their microstructure and properties. The content of this deflocculant was considered to be wt%.
