Zusammenfassung: | The development of improved semiflexible urethane foams forms the basis for this arti cle. Using MONDUR® MR, a polymeric polyisocyanate of note for rigid foam, lower cost, one-shot semiflexible foams exhibiting a wide range of load bearing are reported at lower than normal densities with significant reduction in compression set. A highlight of the work involved the discovery of a unique chemical compound, which when used in ad ditive amount, proved very effective in pro moting and controlling open cell formation. |
