Research on Influence of Dispersing Dead Zone of Shrapnel on Damage Effect

In the past, we evaluated the damage effect of shrapnel without considering the dispersing dead zone. Research and experiment show that dispersing dead zone of shrapnel is in existence. In this paper, the math model of stochastic producing method of bullet falling point when taking into account the dispersing dead zone was set up, and the damage effect when considering dispersing dead zone of shrapnel based on two representative target was analyzed. The calculating result shows dispersing dead zone greatly affects the damage effect of target.
