Zusammenfassung:This paper introduces a flexible real-time software radio using a personal computer (PC) and single FPGA with a solution for frequency hopping under non open-source operating systems like Windows. All parts of this hardware are easily accessible and all of the software layers can be implemented in PC. Universal serial bus (USB) interfaces are used to communicate with hardware, so laptop computers are able to realize this system. A demonstration test bed of global system for mobile (GSM) receiver is implemented based on this idea and the system performance is then presented.
