Zusammenfassung: | An interferometric optical isolator, with a TiO2/magnetic garnet waveguide, employing a nonreciprocal phase shift was studied. The nonreciprocal phase shift in the magneto‐optic waveguide was calculated at a wavelength of 1.55 μm. The large nonreciprocal phase shift was obtained when the magneto‐optic waveguide had a TiO2/magnetic garnet guiding layer.
