Zusammenfassung:In accordance with the requirements imposed to the binding materials used in building modern constructions, a variety of new materials are being studied and implemented in practice. These new materials have promising characteristics in terms of energy included content, effect on the environment and performances. The new high performance composite materials studied in this work were obtained by employing highly reactive metakaolin as an addition in the binding mass (cement). The paper presents the results obtained in the laboratory with regard to the method of obtaining the highly reactive metakaolin and the composite materials as well as the main characteristics of the composite materials.
