Zusammenfassung:A modified trapezoid‐shaped monopole antenna for ultra‐wideband operation having compact dimensions (12.7 × 22.5 × 1.6 mm3) is proposed. With a modified trapezoid radiator and parasitic loops, the proposed antenna has a very wide impedance bandwidth measured at 8.41 GHz (3.06–11.47 GHz, defined by 2:1 VSWR).
