Zusammenfassung: | We introduce the design of a chip for the controlled adhesion of anchorage‐dependent cells. A hybrid copolymer, comprising the peptide cell‐recognition motif RGD, attached to a protein‐repellent poly(dimethylacrylamide) PDMAA polymer is used in a lithography process to implement a chemical microstructure on planar surfaces. The characterization of the surface‐attached film along with a first study of its performance in cell adhesion assays is presented. (© 2009 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim) |
