Zusammenfassung: | The paper aims investigate the "Inclusive Design Toolkit" developed by researchers at Cambridge University's Engineering Design Centre (EDC). The paper looks at the new and freely available - "Inclusive Design Toolkit". The "Inclusive Design Toolkit" is intended to help UK companies to design mainstream products and/or services that are accessible to, and usable by, as many people as reasonably possible, without the need for special adaptation or specialized design. With populations aging, there is an increasingly strong business case for making the effort to design inclusive products. The "Inclusive Design Toolkit" is presented which, it is hoped, will result in better products with greater user satisfaction and greater commercial success, whilst reducing product development risk.
