Zusammenfassung: | Supramolecular chiral structures are induced in an amorphous side-chain azobenzene polymer film by using an elliptically polarized beam. These assemblies are analyzed with a probe, which may have a state of polarization and wavelength different from the exciting illumination. Changes in its ellipticity and azimuth orientation after propagation through the film are a function of the state of polarization and wavelength of the excitation beam. From these results, it is possible to calculate the optical rotatory dispersion of the sample. |
