Zusammenfassung:Accumulation of gedunin in different parts of Azadirachta indica A. Juss. was evaluated by the HPLC method. This compound was found abundant in the fruit epicarp (0.1to 0.8% of the dried plant material used). The young green fruits contained more gedunin than the ripe fruits. Gedunin concentration in the leaves was less than 0.1% and present as traces elsewhere in the plant.
