Zusammenfassung:The interlayer magnetoresistance of overdoped Tl2Ba2CuO6+delta has been measured as a function of both polar and azimuthal angle in high magnetic fields up to 45T. By incorporating basal-plane anisotropy of the cyclotron frequency omegac and transport lifetime tau into the analysis of the data, we succeed in identifying the isotropic and anisotropic components of the transport scattering rate. Significantly, the form of scattering thus obtained is qualitatively different from all previous theoretical proposals.
