Zusammenfassung:We investigated the effect of reinforcement on the formation of nanocrystals at shear bands in a Ni-based metallic glass matrix composite in comparison with monolithic Ni-based bulk metallic glass when shear bands are generated during deformation. The results suggest that the occurrence of nanocrystallization at a shear band implies a stress concentration by a geometrical effect of the reinforcement phase on the compressive loading conditions.
