New analytical model for the radiation pattern of a TM02 mode circular patch antenna

A new analytical model is proposed for the conical beam radiation pattern of the TM02-mode circular patch antenna. It is based on a correct physical description of the radiation mechanism at low-elevation angles, and yields better agreement with measurement than available models.
