Zusammenfassung:Wind turbine as a source of green energy is studied. Wind turbines, towering over 100 metres in height, are the ultimate symbol of a green movement attempting to stamp its mark on society. From an environment and social perspective, there is a cost to wind energy beyond producing emission free energy. Communities suffer from division, industrial machines and roadways scar landscapes, neighbors are affected by noise, and property values decrease. Serious impacts on bats are recorded in the USA, and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds has objected to a number of proposed turbine facilities in the UK due to concerns with bird mortality.
