Zusammenfassung:This paper presents a method of calculating in a simple, cheap and computational efficient way the steady‐state time variables of three‐phase induction or synchronous motors when only the data of the machine and a drawn waveform of its distorted stator input are given. Such waveforms can be considered as converter output voltage or current feeding the machine. According to this method the converter part for simulation can be omitted. The method has been implemented for an induction, as well as a synchronous machine under different cases of distorted voltage waveforms in the stator.
