Zusammenfassung: | The French Allergo-Vigilance Network® has recorded, at the end of 2021, 2621 cases of food anaphylaxis since 2002. The ANSES report, published in 2019, defined an emerging allergen as an allergen corresponding either to 1% or more of the cases of severe anaphylaxis recorded by the RAV, or having a predictive potential for molecular cross-reactivity with a frequent allergen already mandatorily reported. Thus, goat and/or sheep milk (2.9%), buckwheat (2.7%), sesame (2.36%), alpha-gal (1.60%), kiwi (1.6%), pea and lentil legumes (1.48%), pine nut (1.4%), and beehive products (1.22%) are emerging allergens. Apple (0.88%), banana (0.88%), peach (0.72%) and carrot (0.72%) are also emerging via pollen/food cross-reactions. In light of these data, the importance of completing the list of Allergens with mandatory labelling with goat's and sheep's milk, buckwheat, peas and lentils, pine nuts, alpha-gal and beehive products is underlined, with the aim of protecting the consumer, as feeding habits are changing. The emergence of anaphylaxis via pollens and their increase linked to global warming (pollution) is also discussed. |
