Zusammenfassung: | This study explores how carer burden, social support, and gratitude affect the quality of life of family members of older adults with dementia. Participants included 156 family members living with older adults diagnosed with dementia. Data were collected using structured self-report questionnaires and analyzed using hierarchical regression analysis. Significant predictors of quality of life were identified as family support, friend support, and gratitude, and the explanatory power of these factors for quality of life was 48.2 %. To enhance the quality of life of families of older adults with dementia, programs promoting supportive familial interactions, activities enhancing support from friends, and initiatives fostering gratitude should be implemented. |
