Zusammenfassung: | The results of numerical simulation of the dynamics of a high-velocity impact upon a water surface are described in the approximation of two-dimensional hydrodynamics in cylindrical variables for bodies with dimensions, of about 1 km and impact velocities of about 50 km/sec. In the calculations a wide-range semiempirical equation of the state of water was used, with allowance for cold compression, phase transition into vapor, and the processes of dissociation and ionization. A comparison is made between calculations of an impact upon water and impacts upon different types of ground (gabbroid anorthosite, granite), which are described by both analytical equations of state and wide-range ones with phase transitions taken into account.[PUBLICATION ABSTRACT] |
