Zusammenfassung:Redvers, a naturopathic doctor who is also Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Western University and a co-founder with two Elders of the Arctic Indigenous Wellness Foundation, based in northern Canada, highlights how: “There's a lot of meaning and experience within Indigenous communities for going through crises. At university she initially enrolled to study sports medicine but switched to train in naturopathic medicine, with a focus on Indigenous health. Addressing underlying structural inequities became a priority for Redvers, and in 2022 she took up her roles at Western University to focus on Indigenous planetary health in research, policy, and practice.
