Zusammenfassung:Retropharyngeal abscess (RPA) is considered one of the life threatening conditions which can present either as dysphagia or dyspnoea. Timely management for the airway obstruction along with etiology identification plays a pivotal role in saving a patient's life. Here we present a case of RPA due to a rare pathogen.
