Israel border closure denying health care to Gazans

Children Not Numbers (CNN), a UK non-governmental organisation specialising in medical evacuations, is sponsoring Sadeel. Since Feburary it has medically evacuated 56 children from Gaza. “There are 71 000 injured people inside Gaza—a significant proportion of which need urgent medical evacuation. Since the start of this nightmare only 40 medical evacuations are allowed out of Gaza daily”, Somaya Ouazzani, CNN's co-founder, told The Lancet. Physicians for Human Rights Israel filed a petition to the Israeli High Court of Justice, demanding that the State allows medical evacuations. The lifesaving urgent care Sadeel and other children need is less than a few hours away but is being denied by Israel's law-breaking obstruction of health-care delivery.
