Nurses are exposed to different stressors that are triggered by failing to meet personal needs, taking care of patients, heavy workloads, being exposed to dying patients, fear of committing errors in practice, and experiences of discrimination. Literature suggests that emotional intelligence and perceived social support are associated with psychological well-being. This study aimed to test whether emotional intelligence and perceived social support significantly predict psychological well-being among nurses working in hospitals in Metro Manila through multiple regression analysis. Furthermore, it was also found that nurses have an average level of psychological well-being.
