AUTUMN PICTURES

THERE is not much life stirring, and on the moorland rolling in vast undulations to the Gates of Day, there seems a great deal of room in the world. Yet some rabbits are dancing. If you peer through the gorse bushes craftily, you may watch them. These bushes, disciplined by the wind, grow in delightful hummocks, rising from the short fine grass in volumes of citron besprent with yellow.
