Zusammenfassung: | An epidemiological study has been carried on at the Amiens' Gynecology-Obstetrical center with the aim to determinate the aetiology of acute gastrointestinal disorders who affected part of the newborns over a two months period. Rotavirus was found in 16 babies (33 %) by electronmicroscopy and Enzyme-linked-Immuno-sorbent-Assay (ELISA). In one case, a « small round viruswas associated with the Rotavirus. Enteropathogenic bacteria were isolated only two times in this syndrom.
