I have noticed, in my intercourse with Dr. Dale of Birmingham, that whenever presiding over an important Committee, with an ability which few can command, he makes straight for a small sub-committee to settle complicated question. It is open to doubt whether our Schools for Ministers' Daughters would have been in existence to-day, had it not been for the daring and Committee-ignoring determination of two 'elect' ladies. |
