With tears, the 'aged disciple' told me that in his early ministry he opposed Methodism with all his might; but that of late years he had studied John Wesley's Works and Work, and that he was now ashamed of his opposition. There are not a few who may not like the 'outward and visible signs' of the Army, whom Catholic study will show that it possesses, most blessedly, 'inward spiritual grace. |
