Zusammenfassung: | In connection with a plan to install new production equipment for production of copper-alloy, zinc-alloy, and beryllium-bronze strips (including rolling of BrB2 alloy) at the Moscow Non-Ferrous Metals Processing Plant (MZOTsM) the strain regimes for cold rolling were determined. An automated workstation for a sheet rolling process engineer was used in the design process. The curve for the true yield point for BrB2 alloy as a function of deformation was determined with improved accuracy. A rolling-force model was adapted for design calculations of the forming force when rolling BrB2-alloy strips, enabling arbitrarily accurate adjustment of thickness on a four-high 125 strip mill.[PUBLICATION ABSTRACT] |
