Zusammenfassung: | It was attempted to present a method to quantitatively evaluate damages to R/C shear columns subjected to earthquake loads in the post-peak region including collapse. The method that uses the post-peak load-deflection relations formulated based on test results and assumes the concept of the failure surface contraction following shear failure, enables us to compute how much residual lateral- and vertical-load carrying capacities of columns are when they undergo a given level of lateral drift. Those capacities are computed using lateral and vertical reinforcement ratios and axial load ratio. |
