Zusammenfassung:Perovskites with complex stoichiometries are widely synthesized by EDTA/citric acid complexing methods. Even though these methods are well established, details of the perovskite structure formation remained hidden. The structure analysis of different stages of the synthesis process allows the identification of the crystalline intermediates as spinel and carbonate. The perovskite is formed between them in a nanoscale solid‐state reaction.
