Zusammenfassung:Solid‐state alkaline electrolytes were prepared from chloromethylated polysuflone (CMPSf) and a number of mono‐ and diamine compounds for solid alkaline fuel cell (SAFC) applications. Chloromethyl‐groups as substituents for aromatic nuclei were introduced to an aromatic polymer in the presence of a Friedel‐Crafts catalyst and then the basic groups into polymer by amination using N‐trimethylamine (TMA) and N,N,N′,N′‐tetraemethylhexanediamine (TMHDA). The properties of the solid‐state alkaline electrolytes were invetigated in terms of OH– conductivity, water content and thermal stability.
