Zusammenfassung:The hydrogen absorption and thermal desorption behaviors of Ni–Ti superelastic alloy subjected to a sustained tensile-straining test with cathodic hydrogen charging have been investigated. Under an applied strain in the presence of the martensite phase, hydrogen absorption is markedly enhanced and the amount of desorbed hydrogen, particularly at low temperatures, is increased. In addition, the hydrogen diffusion distance in the specimen increases.
