Zusammenfassung:Well-defined nanosized hollow TiO2 capsules with the diameter of 80-100nm were prepared through aging dissolvation technique for the first time to remove the templates of core-shell composite spheres. The as-prepared TiO2 nanocapsules were characterized by TEM. Furthermore, the antimicrobial triclosan was loaded into these nanocapsules. The loading of triclosan was determined by TGA-DTA, and the loading amount is about 29wt.%. The release behavior of the entrapped triclosan molecular was investigated by UV-visible absorption (UV-vis). There is a moiety of triclosan that was loaded inside the TiO2 shell. The results indicated that this drug release system has a sustained-release property. Such antimicrobial-loaded TiO2 nanocapsules can be used as additive in household and personal care chemical industry.
