Zusammenfassung:Intermacromolecular complexation between poly(aspartic acid) known as a nontoxic, biocompatible and biodegradable polymer and a synthetic polymer with film-forming properties such as: poly(vinyl alcohol) or poly(acrylic acid) is investigated. This interpolymer complex is intended to be used as a silver-doped matrix with microbial resiliency for biomedical applications. Dynamic rheology and differential scanning calorimetry are used to evaluate interpolymer complexation.
