Zusammenfassung:A new wall structure and its manufacturing technique have been developed. With this technique an experimental wall fragment has been manufactured. It consists of the following layers: internal finishing layer (gypsum boards and vapour insulation), foam gypsum, thermal insulation (polystyrene) and a plaster outer layer. The heat transfer coefficient through the given wall has been determined. The construction element’s heat transfer coefficient ( U) was determined by applying specially developed equipment and software. According to the experimental test, the coefficient’s U value for the multi-layer construction with the foam polystyrene thermal insulation is 0.36 ± 0.10 W/m 2 K.
