Martensitic Structural Steels for Increased Strength and Wear Resistance

Martensitic QT steels with yield strength up to 1300 MPa and abrasion resistant steels with hardness up to 600 HBW are presented. The advantages and possibilities with such high grades are discussed as well as some problems to be considered when choosing the applications.
