Zusammenfassung:An inventory of hazardous wastes for 17 municipalities in Hidalgo, Mexico is reported in this paper. The results obtained are the first on this subject and will allow the formulation of specific programs of monitoring of emissions, appropriate transport, treatment and final disposal of hazardous wastes. The studied zone corresponds to 12.5% of the Hidalgo's state total area and 40.5% of its population. This area concentrates all the state's industrial zones and most representative industries. The methodology used was the Environmental Pollution Sources Fast Evaluation. The study allowed identification and measure of hazardous wastes emission sources.
