Zusammenfassung: | Formation of bound pairs in two dimensional t–J models is investigated. Previous studies have examined the square and rectangular lattices, and here we extend such work to include the triangular lattice. In particular, we calculate the threshold exchange coupling needed for pairing, and the corresponding binding energy for an isotropic triangular lattice. Finally, to track how a frustrated environment affects pairing we have considered an anisotropic t–J model with two exchange couplings J1 and J2 which smoothly interpolates between the isotropic square to triangular lattices.
