Zusammenfassung: | The specific heat and magneto-volume effect in quasi one-dimensional antiferromagnetic metals are investigated. The three-dimensional character of one-dimensional antiferromagnetic metals is phenomenologically taken into account. A self-consistent renormalization theory of spin fluctuations (the SCR theory) is used to enable the treatment of spin fluctuations beyond the random phase approximation. The specific heat and magneto-volume effect in quasi-one-dimensional antiferromagnetic metals have not previously been investigated using the SCR theory. This investigation studies the magnetic part of the specific heat and the magneto-volume effect within the SCR theory. An expression for the magnetic part of the specific heat is obtained at low temperatures. |
