Zusammenfassung:Based on the analysis of attenna gain and the transport characteristics of electrons in quasi 1-D quantum wires, an idea for constructing a new type of nano antennas with quasi 1-D quantum wires was proposed. An experimental prototype consisting of carbon nanotube has been set up to demonstrate the idea. Experimental results show that the electromagnetic radiation efficiency and bandwidth of the proposed antenna prototype are prior to traditional microstrip antennas.
