Zusammenfassung: | We have measured the conductivity of two-dimensional electrons on a thin superfluid helium film, which is physically adsorbed on metal electrodes. For this experiment, we have prepared aluminum electrodes separated by a nano gap of about 20nm. By using the nano-gapped electrodes, we have accumulated electrons on a superfluid helium film of several hundred angstroms and measured the conductivity. The conductivity signal is to be attributed to the electrons on an intermediate region between meniscus and thin film. |
