Zusammenfassung:Experimental data on the stability of cable Nicrosil-Nisil thermocouples (type N) under step-by-step thermal cycling in the temperature range 20 to 1100 deg C and also under long-term heating in air at the temperature 1085 +/- 10 deg C are presented. The analysis of the influence of thermal cycling on thermal EMF drift is carried out. We conclude that N type thermocouples can be used as the reference thermocouple for the calibration of industrial base-metal thermocouples.
