Zusammenfassung:The structure, Curie temperature, magnetization and magnetostriction of Pr0.15Tb0.3Dy0.55Fe1.85-xSix (x=0-0.4) alloys have been investigated by using X-ray diffraction, AC susceptibility, vibrating sample magnetometer and standard strain gauge techniques. It was found that the matrix was entirely MgCu2-type cubic Laves phase when x < 0.3. With the increase of Si content, the lattice parameter and the Curie temperature decrease. The saturation magnetization and magnetostriction of Pr0.15Tb0.3Dy0.55Fe1.85-xSix alloys at room temperature decrease with increasing Si concentration.
