Zusammenfassung:We investigate within the effective mass theory, the influence of the shape of the confining potential and the geometry of the Quantum Dot on the diamagnetic susceptibility χ dia of a hydrogenic donor using variational method. We compare χ dia of a donor in a Spherical Quantum Dot for both infinite and finite barrier model.
