Zusammenfassung:	Botryosphaeria rhodina produced beta-glucan when grown on undiluted olive-mill wastewaters (OMW). The production of exopolysaccharide increased with the COD up to 17.2 g l(-1) on the most loaded OMW (151 and 66 g l(-1) of COD and total sugar, respectively). The total phenol content of OMW was reduced from 8 to 4.1 g l(-1).
