Zusammenfassung: | Since macro-segregation in titanium alloy ingots influences mechanical properties, the control alloyed element segregation is very important. In this report, heat conduction and solidification analyses, including the unsteady part of the VAR operation, were conducted. The results were used to calculate the alloy element distributions throughout the ingot. Using this simulation method it is possible to continuously simulate the macro-segregation conditions on 1st-melt and 2nd-melt ingots. Simulation results were shown to be closely consistent with actual results. |
