Zusammenfassung:	Samples of raw water from the Adige river, Italy, were collected at 19 sampling stations in the Trento province, twice in one year. Organic and inorganic analyses were done on these samples. COD, BOD, TOC, inorganic nitrogen, phosphate, and several metals were measured. The organic pollutants found inluded xylenes, methylisobutylketone, naphthalene, benzophenone, and pyrene. Industrial activities and urban effluents were the origin of most of the pollutants.
